TIM LANG: Press

Photobucket Q: Where did you grow up?

A: Moved around a bit, always heading south and west. I think my parent's are slight vagabonds. I've finally settled down in Mazatlan, Mexico.

Q: What made you realize that music was your path?

A: I feel like the moments I sing I am the real me. The rest of the time I'm just tryin' to fake it.

Q: How would you describe the music that you typically create?

A: Honest.

Q: Who are your biggest musical influences?

A: The other day someone asked me who in the music world I would like to meet. All my answers were no longer with us. I love the timeless ones like Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Bobby Darin...Sam Cooke! So I feel this pull to create something timeless.

Q: What makes your music unique?

A: If you listen to it, you can count it towards working off your community service hours.

Q: Has there been one particular moment in your musical career that you're most proud of?

A: Someone very special to me passed away suddenly. I wrote a song for thier family and they expressed to me it helped them heal. I was honored to have made any difference and they all mean so much to me even to this day.

Q: What's next for you?

A: Right now? I'm going to my favorite little surfing spot down the hill. Hasta luego!
